Capturing Creativity: A Personal Branding Photoshoot with The Two Jewellers in Sitges

Personal Branding Photography Barcelona

Hey there, fellow photography enthusiasts and entrepreneurs! Buckle up for a journey behind the lens as I spill the beans on a recent adventure in personal branding photography. Picture this: a luxury Sitges villa (thank you, Canlleons Villa!) bathed in golden sunlight, adorned with the sparkle of creativity, and buzzing with the energy of two vibrant jewellery designers. That's the scene where the magic happened!

So, let's rewind a bit. It all started with an excited chat about dreams, visions, and, of course, jewellery. Claire and Andrea approached me for a personal branding session because they are about to launch a new website and business venture together as The Two Jewellers, hosting fabulous jewellery making workshops in Sitges for visitors and special events. They are both very experienced jewellery designers in their own right and they are now joining forces in this new direction.

Meeting these two fun and fabulous designers was like stumbling upon a treasure trove of inspiration. They were brimming with ideas, personality, and a deep-seated passion for their craft. Naturally, I knew capturing their essence through the lens was going to be an adventure worth embarking on.

First things first: planning. We delved into the nitty-gritty details, from scouting locations to curating outfits and selecting props. Every element had to scream their brand - edgy, easy-going, and unapologetically unique. We wanted to weave a visual story that would not only showcase their stunning creations but also reflect their personalities and the essence of their brand.

Now, let's talk outfits. Always such a fun part of the planning process! We decided on clothes that resonated with their brand identity - simple and relaxed in brand colours, enabling statement pieces from their jewellery collections to stand out. It was all about creating a cohesive look that would tie everything together seamlessly.

Choosing suitable props for this shoot came easily because Andrea and Claire were able to bring a range of jewellery making tools and beads, as well as some of their favourite pieces. First they set up a table as they would for one of their workshops and went to work. This was a great way for them to relax into the shoot and get used to me pointing the camera at them! They were soon at ease, laughing and having fun together as they normally would.

As confidence grew, we dived headfirst into the heart of the shoot. Laughter filled the air as we moved between shots, using some gentle posing techniques while still capturing candid moments and genuine smiles. It wasn't just about posing for the camera; it was about embracing the joy of creation and showcasing their stunning creations.

And let's not forget about Andrea’s amazing home workshop space! It was such a treat to visit for our second shoot location. Tucked away in a cosy corner of her villa in beautiful Olivella, it was a treasure trove of creativity. From intricate designs taking shape to the melodious hum of tools at work, it was a glimpse into the soul of their craft. We wanted to capture not just the finished products, but also the passion and dedication that went into every piece they created.

In the end, as the sun started to set, we knew we had captured something special. It wasn't just a photoshoot; it was a story of discovery, creativity, and friendship. And as I packed up my gear and bid farewell for now, I felt very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their story as they take their business forward in their next adventure.

So, here's to personal branding, creativity, and the magic that happens when passion meets purpose.

Andrea and Claire, thank you for the laughs! Wishing you every success for your new direction together. I can’t wait to come and try a workshop!
